Bull Swamp Media is an independent, media company founded by filmmaker and cinematographer Brianna “Bree” Wright. Rooted in Black Southern heritage and based in Chicago, the company develops narrative films, documentaries, branded visual work, publishing projects, and educational stories centered on culture, community, identity, and lived experience. Bull Swamp Media was created as a home for meaningful storytelling across mediums—bringing together original productions, creative collaborations, Bull Swamp Press, and the visual-production work of Serenity Studios. Through every project, the company seeks to honor where stories come from while creating work that feels honest, visually distinctive, and built to last.
